This disk contains Compugraphic Type fonts. Most of these fonts have been
converted to Compugraphic Type from their original Macintosh format, using
the utility supplied with Gold Disk's Professional Page 3.
Workbench 2.0 users Before use, these fonts must be installed onto your
system by using the Fountain program. Full instructions
on its use are supplied in your WB2.0 manual. These
fonts may then be used under any WB2.0 application
that supports the Compugraphic font format.
PageStream V2 + These fonts may be used directly from disks with
PageStream. You will need to use the Font Manager to
set which draw the fonts are loaded from. Please refer
to the Font Management chapter in your User Manual.
Professional Page 3 After copying the .dat .lib and .metric files into
your CGFONTS directory,the program CG_UPDATE must be run
for these fonts to become available for use. CG_UPDATE
can be found on the GTS CGFonts_1 disk. CG_UPDATE has
been included with kind permission from Gold Disk.
Before use please read the copyright notice for more
information, then drag the CG_UPDATE icon into your
PPage directory and double click to run.
PageSetter 2 Copy the .lib .metric and .atc files for each font that
you wish to install into your CGFonts directory. They
will now be available for use in your documents.
In each font directory there are various files, with extensions as below;
.atc - For PageSetter II, and ProPage earlier than version 3.
.dat - For use by ProPage 3 users.
.lib - For all users.
.metric - For all users.
.psfont - For users of Postscript printers.
ProPage users copy these files into your PS directory, so they
are available for downloading into your printer.
Some Fonts also have a readme file and a picture file to view.
